¶ Installation
The examples provided use the apt package manager, common to distributions like Ubuntu and Debian.
First, let's add the chia.net repository to our system.
- Open the terminal by pressing “ctrl+alt+t”. Now, we need to update the package list by running the following command:

If you are restoring the .chia configuration from a backup or want to keep your existing settings, skip steps 1-2.
- For a first-time installation, run
chia init:
